I can't remember when I started this Twisted Log Cabin. I have been thinking about making it for years. I dyed the fabrics a couple of years ago and I think that I started this in about June. I am about half done. It is very slow going and monotonous. I am not really enjoying doing it, but I think I will like the finished product, and I don't want to quit and give up on it. Here are two of the four rows.
Once I start, it's hard to stop
I am done with my mystery clue #3 for the week, but working on that makes me want to keep sewing. I worked on cleaning up some of the flat surfaces in my sewing room today while watching "Alias". I cut up some more pieces for my Leaders and Enders project for this year, It is Split Nine Patch and the free directions can be found here.

I also cut up odds and ends of fabric into standard sizes for future scrappy quilts.
Here my pieces are all cut and ready to assemble.
I noticed that last year I wrote about sewing my "Gaggle of Geese Quilt", but now I can show you that it is finished and hanging on the wall.

Hard to believe that I was going to post and more frequently about a year ago. I did get my Easy Street done, and you can see that on the mystery tab. I must have started my Turkey Tracks last February from Bonnie Hunter's String Fling book. The top is done and now I am thinking about how to quilt it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It is going to be aged for a while because I am working on Bonnie's mystery again this year.
The borders were pretty time intensive with all those flying geese. There are a total of 456 in this quilt. I had the colors reversed for the first hundred, so those had to be redone.
